Class Schedule

Explore our dog show classes and plan your IOW Dog Festival day here!

The isle of wight dog festival logo is a black and white logo for the island 's premier dog show.

Our class schedule has been put together to give as many of you as possible the chance to enter your dog(s) in your favourite classes.  Despite that, due to the constraints of time, space and available resources, we haven't been able to fully prevent some classes running simultaneously but with careful planning, you will be able to get the most of our Isle of Wight Dog Festival!

To help you with your planning, you can also download our schedule in a couple of different formats. Scroll down for the downloads and more information.

Additional info & terms

Classes are capped at 35 entries and after that, no more are taken. All entry tickets and class entries have to be purchased online. Where space exists, class entries can be bought on the day but no guarantees are given of availability. It is unlikely the schedule will change unless in extreme circumstances. When that happens, class entry holders will be informed by email.

Based on best estimate and the entries we've seen in previous years, we've allowed for some classes to have more than 35 entries. For those, you can enter round 1 OR round 2 and the top 10 of each round go to the final. It is intended that the same judge presides over all three rounds. (This may not apply to 'Judge's Favourite, depending on entries).

Rosettes are given to 1st - 6th place in each (final) round and the 1st place entry is entered into Best of Show.

All classes are £2.00 per entry when bought online. On the day,m the price will be £3.00. Please read our terms and conditions before purchasing your entries.

With regards to XL Bullies, we are required to respect the law as it’s presented to us to follow. Any XL Bully owner that is following the government requirements will be welcome to enter their dog(s) into our Fun Dog Show.

As an organisation we do not support any training aid or control mechanism that inflicts unnecessary pain or discomfort to a dog such as prong / shock collars. We also do not support any unnecessary mutilation such as ear cropping and tail docking, but we are aware some of the dogs we see are Rescues who are welcome to participate in the Fun Dog Show classes.

We may use a photograph of you and your dog for future Isle of Wight Dog Festivals.
